This is a absolutely fantastic game, really well made. Captures the look and feel of Megaman Legends well and with better controls. The only tiny nitpick would just be that the menu and inventory screens look super plain and dull, but I know that could be easily updated. I really hope the creator releases a full game one day because I would definitely buy it day one! A must play for anyone curious. Nothing but praise from me. 👏👏👏
I saw this in a random article ages ago, but only now getting around to playing this. I've played this for like half an hour and I freaking love it! The movement is so good, and the PS1 graphics are just spot on.
I really like the progress so far, the movement feels intuitive and responsive, and I like the flow of movement that you get from being able to wall-kick while moving forward.
One of my biggest gripes is the controller set up though, as it generally asks you to play simon-says to map the buttons, but won't tell you what they do. I ended up having to press random buttons in-game to figure out what things did (before I found the prompts that explained their function, mind you).
This would be fine if it wasn't the fact that I wanted to customize my controls to be more recognizable to me, but some trial and error got me to the layout I wanted, and I had a BLAST with it.
I'm hopeful that future versions will have more secrets and stuff you can find that are akin to the buster power up you get by wall-jumping in the dungeon, as there were pipe placements in the dungeon you could only get to by careful wall-jump scaling, or getting into the building when you find the path past the ruined fences in the docks that left me feeling like, "Damn, this would be a GREAT place for a random chest!"
All in all though, I enjoyed my time with the game, and will definitely be keeping my eye on this. Alsothemaincharacterisadorable.
Is BusterGal a third the filesize because of better music compression or something? Very impressive if so, but if not I'd prefer not to be missing out on content.
Rockman Dash but with amazing control. I can't wait to see this fleshed out, been itching for more of this kind of game. The only gripe I have is how you can shoot behind, but it's not a big deal
